Week One is Finally Here

It has been a long, hot summer, but week one of the college football season is just about here, and it’s time to give our BigTime Fearless Forecast for week one. As always, please…no wagering!!

In the Big 12 Oklahoma travels to UTEP for a late night game, but Landry Jones and the Sooners have something to prove, and will win by 27. Texas should easily beat Wyoming by 21, Baylor will beat SMU by 14, and Iowa State will beat slighlty favored Tulsa by 8.

In an SEC vs Big 10 matchup, Alabama will beat Michigan by 10, while in an SEC vs ACC matchup, Clemson will beat Auburn by 3.

In the ACC, Virginia Tech should handle Georgia Tech by 8, while in the Pac 12 Arizona will beat Toledo by 20, while BYU will spoil Mike Leach’s debut with Washington State by 14.

In other SEC play, new member Texas A&M over Louisiana Tech on the road by 9, and in Big 10 play Penn State beats Ohio by 7, while Michigan State will beat Boise State by 10.

In #1 USC’s season debut the Trojans should beat Hawaii about as bad as they want to…and likely will.
