BIGTIME CHALLENGE
Our BigTime Challenge College Exposure Tournaments are can't-miss stops for both top teams and college coaches. We annually get the top elite teams and this is an excellent chance for your team and players to get that national recruiting exposure at these elite events, and find out where your teams ranks among the very best in your grade. The prestigious event is headed by McDonald's All-American Game Committee member Greg Swaim and see what the college coaches have to say about Swaim's events and his recruiting service.

As you probably know, many of the elite exposure events simply have too many teams, meaning that your team will be playing off of the "beaten path" and won't be seen by the college coaches or scouts unless you're in the top 5% of the teams there. At
our BigTime Challenge Tournaments this won't be a problem, since we limit our registration to insure that every college coach at our events will see you play. Many of the top national recruiting service "guru's" also plan to be in attendance, including representatives of Rivals.com and Scout.com, making decisions on who they rate as the top players are in the country and keep them in mind for honors such as McDonald's All American, Nike, Adidas, Reebok, etc. This is crucial for those players who want to play college basketball because college coaches count on these services to let them know who the players are.

Check out Televised coverage of our 2007 and 2008 Exposure Challenge events.

Many of the top young players in this part of the country were discovered at our exposure events and have gone on to to the top college (and even professional) levels like  Blake Griffin (Oklahoma/Los Angeles Clippers), Deron Williams (Illinois/Utah Jazz), Chauncey Billups (Colorado/Detroit Pistons), Desmond Mason (Oklahoma State/Oklahoma City Thunder), Shelden Williams (Duke/Boston Celtics), Kelenna Azubuike (Kentucky/Golden State Warriors), Eton Thomas (Syracuse/Oklahoma City Thunder), J.R. Giddens (New Mexico/Boston Celtics), Xavier Henry (Kansas), Daniel Orton (Kentucky), Rotnei Clarke (Arkansas), Keiton Page (Oklahoma State), Darnell Jackson (Kansas), Terrance Crawford (Oklahoma State), Kevin Bookout (Oklahoma), Charles Ramsdell (Tulsa), Marques Hayden (Kansas State), Matt Gibson (Hawaii), Eric Castro (SMU), Keith Smith (Louisiana Tech), DeAngelo Alexander (Charlotte), Matt Gipson (Hawaii), Iciss Tillis (Duke/New York Liberty), Kayla Bowers (Texas), Andrea Riley (Oklahoma State) Melissa Hobbs (Colorado), Taylor Hardemann (Oklahoma State), Jenna Plumley (Oklahoma) and literally hundreds at the NCAA DII & DII, NAIA and NJCAA levels...and if you're good enough, you could be the next.

This tournament has a four game guarantee, with two pool play games on Saturday and then the tournament beginning on day two. Don't delay your registration, as we are limited on the number of teams we can take for each of our events and we often reach capacity in a short amount of time.

RULES - Each game has two eighteen (18) minute halves with a moving clock until the last minute of the first half and the last minute of the game, unless one team has a 20-point lead or more. The one-and-one is in effect after seven fouls in a half, with the double bonus taking effect after ten fouls. Full court pressure is not allowed after a team is leading by 20 or more and other standard high school rules apply. Boys in grades 3-6 and all girls grades will play with a 28.5 (women's size) inch ball, while boys in grades 7-12 play with a 29.5 inch (men's size) ball and each team is responsible for bringing their own practice basketballs and one game ball as well.
