SCOTT SWYDEN

Scott Swyden has been an assistant tennis coach for both the men’s and women’s tennis programs at Oklahoma State, and an assistant tennis pro at Quail Creek Country Club.

Swyden worked coaching both tennis and basketball in Oklahoma. After a short time in Texas, Swyden returned to Edmond, OK, working with basketball part-time, eventually taking over a women’s basketball recruiting service. It was from this service that Swyden started a summer elite player development program made up of players from around the state of Oklahoma.

The program, Oklahoma Hoops, has helped place more than 80 young ladies with college basketball scholarships over an eight-year period. Over all of that time, Swyden has developed and maintained relationships with college coaches from around the country.

He has also been a sports writer, reporter and broadcaster in both football and basketball, and he is also the founder of Coaches Video Share, a state of the art video sharing service for college and prep coaches across the country, and he is a frequent guest on the Greg Swaim Radio Show and BigTime TV Show.
